DUI driver sentenced to over 20 years in prison for 2020 double-fatal crash in Red Bluff

The charges stem from a deadly DUI crash on Dec. 9, 2020. According to the TCDA and Highway Patrol officials, Cantrell was speeding and driving under the influence of methamphetamine and cannabis on SR-36 near Tuscan Ave. He reportedly drifted off the road and then jumped off of a driveway—going airborne.
